Christmas was fun this year - Jack is a professional present opener now. He helped EVERYONE open their gifts. Jack's big surprise was his Spiderman bedroom (photos to come). Here is hoping your holiday was as much fun as watching Jack tear into all his new Superhero gear!

Cookies for Santa

Jack made cookies and wrote a note for Good Old St. Nick again this year. He was an extra good boy this year, so I am sure Santa's sleigh is loaded down with presents for Jack Jones in Ballwin, MO.

Your a mean one, Mr. Grinch...

Jack had a Grinchy themed Christmas this year from Nana and Papa. Colin slept through most of the festivities this year. Too much excitement for a five week old. Jack made sure Colin's presents were opened for him, however... what a helpful big brother!

Happy Holidays from the Jones Bros.

Happy Holidays!

There is a Santa Claus...

This is the first year that Jack understands if you are a good boy Santa Claus will bring you presents for Christmas. So he made sure Santa heard that he wants a Wolverine and a Batman toy for Christmas - a few times!
He was very excited to meet the jolly old chap. However, whenever I see a mall Santa it reminds me of the Christmas movie classic, Bad Santa, starring Billy Bob Thornton. It makes me skeptical as to whom my child is getting his photo taken with...let's hope this one has a clean rap sheet. Happy Holidays!

Happy Turkey Day!

Things we are thankful for this Thanksgiving:

*two healthy, happy boys (with great hair)
*our circle of friends and family
*being a Realtor - so I decide the length of my "maternity leave"
*Jack's innate athletic ability at age 2 - have you seen the kid play soccer?
*referring attorneys
*wine on sale at Schnucks (Geoff - Shiraz, Kim - Vignoles)

Things Jack is thankful for this Thanksgiving:

*his spiderman costume
*chocolate milk
*Kung Fu Panda is now on DVD
*microwave corn dogs

Things Colin is thankful for this Thanksgiving:

*cozy blankets
*long naps
*a never ending supply of clean diapers
*the ability to decide on a whim he is hungry at any time and get fed right then

Here is hoping everyone we know has a wonderful Thanksgiving and are blessed with good health, much love and prosperity!

Big Brother Blog

Hi All, Jack here...Mom seems a little busy, so I am going to blog it up today. Colin is cool. His name will always be Yellow to me. Get this - Colin didn't eat until today. Two days without food...he has a lot to learn.

On to my day - seriously, when is someone going to buy me "Rock Man"?, i.e. The Thing from the Fantatasic Four. (insert pic here mom). Uncle Coey I am counting on you. Don't let me down, man.

Colin's pics and his faux hawk mohawk should be on Web Nursery by Monday. He is so trying to have awesome hair like his big bro. However, my look is more Bruce Jenner circa 1980.
For those of you who can't wait I will attach some sweet pics. (Mom, more pics here). I know he is almost as cute as me, hard to believe.

Ma...Meatloaf....NOW! I guess she will add the pics soon... not sure why she is so busy all the time.
Peace out - Jack Harris

Mr. (& Mrs.) Jones and me...

a.k.a. my parents -they are so lucky to have me.
Posted by Picasa

Hello World...

I'm finally here. My name is Colin Noel Jones (pronounced kah-lin nohl - the Jones part is pretty self explanatory)... Mom and Dad decided after staring at me for quite a while in recovery that I looked like a Colin and Noel was my Great Grandpa's name - which is an honor to carry on. So there you have it - Colin Noel Jones.

I can't wait to meet all my wonderful friends and family that I have heard about from Mom and Dad. I hope to see you soon!

- Much Love, Colin.

Hello Yello

Colin Noel Jones blessed us with his presence at 3:28 this afternoon. Colin weighs 7lbs11oz and is 20 inches long. Jack announced his baby brother's name to the family, however, Jack still thinks Yellow is a better name. Colin has been Mellow Yellow so far. Mom is doing great.

D-day (Delivery Day that is...)

So we finally made it - today is 11/20 and we will get to meet Yellow in about five hours. I am also relieved to know this is the last time in my life my body will be this huge and contorted... oh the beauty of pregnancy!

Obama is his name-oh

What a historic day and a privilege to live in a country with the opportunity to choose our leaders...

Jack got to experience the democratic process of voting today (along with Mom and Yellow)... did I mention Jack has decided he is going to name his little brother, Yellow? 16 days left to meet baby Yellow in person...

It took Mom and Jack only 23 minutes to vote - it took Dad an hour and a half...

"The country is getting a new president and Obama is his name-oh, O-B-A-M-A, O-B-A-M-A, O-B-A-M-A and Obama is his name-oh."

Trick or Treat, smell my feet...

Jack here:

Here is a breakdown of my Halloween fun...

I got to decorate our pumpkins with eyeballs, pipe cleaners and stickers...much better than watching someone else have all the fun stabbing my perfect, orange halloween pick.

Early in the evening, I visited my friend Landon's haunted garage (Landon dressed as Pugsly from the Addams Family)

This is the first year I remember going to my neighbors homes for free candy (Mom says I have gone every year - even when carried in a Lobster costume)... Who doesn't like free candy? Why don't we do this every month? Just saying...

Peace out,

JJ
