Trick or Treat, smell my feet...

Jack here:

Here is a breakdown of my Halloween fun...

I got to decorate our pumpkins with eyeballs, pipe cleaners and stickers...much better than watching someone else have all the fun stabbing my perfect, orange halloween pick.

Early in the evening, I visited my friend Landon's haunted garage (Landon dressed as Pugsly from the Addams Family)

This is the first year I remember going to my neighbors homes for free candy (Mom says I have gone every year - even when carried in a Lobster costume)... Who doesn't like free candy? Why don't we do this every month? Just saying...

Peace out,

JJ

Bummer Birthday News

My Doctor's office called today to inform me they have to move my c-section date back two days (which feels like two months when you are 9 months preggo)... not exactly the birthday present I was looking for. Maybe this is what 31 has in store for me?

Mmmmm..... cake

Jack is 2 & 1/2 today - it is fun to see his little personality evolve every day into his own little person (I may regret those words when he is a teen)...
It is tradition that he gets a homemade cake from Mom on his 1/2 birthday - mostly tradition and also any reason to have cake is a good one!
Happy 1/2 Birthday, Booty... we love you!!!

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown...

This weekend was Jack's 3rd annual trip to Rombach's Pumpkin Patch to pick out the perfect Halloween pumpkin. Even though it was 75 degrees outside, he insisted on wearing his new skull cap for the occasion. This was the first year he rode the miniature horses and the "choo choo" as he called it (basically a tractor pulling plastic colored barrels with painted polka dots through a field). Since we were not sure if he would bail out of the "choo choo" ride half way through - Geoff got the pleasure of squeezing in the barrel behind Jack for the ride!!!

After Rombach's we went to El Maguey for some Mexican. Jack and Grammie had a fun time saying "shoo bug" to a pesky fly that was trying to make conversation with our table. Good times!

Jack "Beckham" Jones

Today was Jack's 4th Kickaroos soccer class. Technically, it is a parent and me class - but at this point, Coach Tyler has taken pity on his large, preggo mom and helps Jack out a lot (Bless Coach Tyler!) Nothing like "soccer socks" and "soccer shoes" (as Jack calls them) to make you run super fast!!!
