It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown 2009

So, off to the Hartsburg Pumpkin Festival we went this year...that was an adventure. We left with one gourd shaped like a duck (that Jack carried around like a baby duck until it's head was broken off accidentally by Grammie - one causualty not so bad, right) and a super charged Mizzou trike for Jack... note I did not say we left with an actual pumpkin from the festival. Damn broken ATM machine! The festivities were grand...more photos to post!

Countryside Fall Festival

Jack's preschool's Fall Festival was amazing. He met Clifford, jumped in a Puppy bounce house, got his face painted... but told us "Grandpa told me not to ride the horses and ponies"... weird as he only has two Papa's and calls no one Grandpa.

Bed Head

Colin has great hair - even right out of bed. Tiger is Colin's version of Jack's puppy. He goes no where without him! In bed, out of bed, in the car... you get the idea. Neither of my kids liked pacifiers, but both love their puppy/tiger.

MIZ-ZOU

Jack and Colin's first "family friendly" Tiger Tailgate...never thought I would put those words in front of tailgate, anywho, pretty sure there were more kids than adults there. Colin spent the tailgate collecting all the other kiddos tigers... since Tiger is his fave toy he thinks they all belong to him. Wrong mindset for this town, kid.
We had great seats (not sure they get better, thanks David!) and Jack got to meet Truman!!! Jack still chants MIZ-ZOU... he loved it. Maybe he'll stay in town for college? Wishful thinking!!!

Futbol

Jack also started back soccer for his second year. The indoor field at the MAC has two fields to play on...one for Jack's practice and one for Colin to rule!

Going to a "Little" Wedding

My little Brother got married over Labor Day Weekend! So glad to have Renee as a new sister-in-law.
Jack was a ringbearer (again)... he really is quite the professional. He stood up front with me the entire wedding (quietly)!

Countryside...

Ok... so I have been a total loser lately about keeping up the family blog (thanks for the reminder, Jenni!) so I am playing catch up once again and hitting hilights of the last two months for all those checking!

Jack started preschool here in big old COMO. He is not on the East side or the West side - but the Countryside (Countryside Nursery School that is)... fitting because everytime we tell Columbia residents where we live in COMO they are like "Wow, thats far out there". Technically it is not. Not the "country" last I checked. Anywho... more updates of the next two months to come!

Big Weekend

Big weekend in the STL...Colin got his first haircut! More like a trim, however, it is a milestone. The kid has a nice head of hair!!

The boys went to Kaitlyn's Birthday Party on Saturday at Little Gym and Grant's Farm with BFF Landon on Sunday.

Monday was Colin's 9 month checkup - he is officially no longer my little shortstack - 66% in height, 63% in weight... my little boy is growing so fast!
