Yes

Still chasing my super crawler, Colin. He now pulls himself up on everything he possibly can. He also figured out he can see his reflection in the oven door (being related to his younger brother they both can be entertained by staring at themselves in mirrors for hours on end... I am certain this is a trait Geoff passed along ((love you, babe!))).

Crafty

So, as you can see from the pictures, Colin is much more mobile than Jack ever was at this age (just now 8 months)... he has learned not only how to speed crawl, but, how to use his brothers toys to get himself onto the couch.
I know I should not wish for my child to be physically delayed out of sheer laziness - but I am exhausted keeping up with my little shortstack...

Decade

Geoff and I opted for a beautiful vaca on the Gasconade River for our 10 year anniversary.
Yes, it is an annual float with many of our friends that just happens to land on our anniversary pretty much every year.
If I get Walgreens to fix the CD they created from my super cool waterproof disposable camera, we will post pics of the weekend.
Ps. Did I mention it was pouring down rain, lightning and thundering when they sent us off on our float. The camp director/bus driver/banjo player informed us we "should" be ok since our rafts are made of rubber... thanks for that great bit of knowledge- sure he isn't a Safety Management major from UCM?

Dirt

Why are little boys so attracted to dirt? Jack can't wait to get outside and get in the yard barefoot (or clover/dirt/crabgrass pile as I like to call it) where we are currently having a patio poured outside. Look at the joy on his face...it's the little things.

Shower(s)

Not only was this the day of my soon to be sister-in-law's bridal shower... I drove in torrential rain (showers) to get there - pretty sure I saw a tornado in the distance behind me as I sped down highway 70... no worries the boys were not in the car!
Looking forward to the wedding... Jack will be a ring bearer for the 3rd time this year - he is a semi-professional.

The Good Son

You know you are an excellent big brother when you share your Batman Cave with your 7 month old brother. I love the booty shots!

Sippy

Oh yes, Colin has mastered the sippy cup - this means we are closer to no more bottle washing (wishful thinking, I know...)

Quick note

Hi All -

We are officially "Columbians" (again). The move went successful aside from both boys being sick...so between unpacking and tending to sick kids I have not had much time to sit and spill all the great (and the few not so great) events of the last three weeks or so.

Here is our new address and email:

5506 Prairie Creek Drive
Columbia, MO 65203
comojonesfamily@yahoo.com (please, please no forwarded emails - not a fan)

I hope to download my pics from my camera and get some new stuff on here soon. Sorry for the delay - life is keeping us very busy at the present! Happy 4th of July!
