Big Weekend
Big weekend in the STL...Colin got his first haircut! More like a trim, however, it is a milestone. The kid has a nice head of hair!!
The boys went to Kaitlyn's Birthday Party on Saturday at Little Gym and Grant's Farm with BFF Landon on Sunday.
Monday was Colin's 9 month checkup - he is officially no longer my little shortstack - 66% in height, 63% in weight... my little boy is growing so fast!

Ketchup
Ok - done playing catch up for now. For all of those who keep up with the blog - you may want to go back to the end of May for all the updates...sorry to be a slacker, life happens.
Much love,

Perks of CoMo
Did not know that Jimmy Johns of CoMo had a drive thru!!! Pretty sure none of the Jimmy Johns in the STL had one.
Fresh sub without having to get two small kids out of the car for it - priceless.

Never roam alone
See Mr. Monkey in the pictures with Colin... this was his first gift ever. Jack brought it to the hospital as a gift for Colin. Every time someone squeezes him - Colin's eyes light up. Monkey is absolutely his favorite toy.
On to the story... We paid for our tickets to get into the Taste of the Market festival - Colin in stroller with his Monkey and Jack in tow. About 40 minutes later as we are standing in line for a sample of honey ice cream, we realized Monkey was missing. If it was any old toy, I would not have been bummed. Kids lose toys all the time - but not Monkey!!!
I chalked it up to a loss as the masses of people deterred us from even attempting to search the grounds to look for him.
Flash forward three hours when we are leaving - Aunt Renee and I decided to duck out of the festivities with the kids under the roped off area and guess what? On the curb was Monkey sitting there. Someone actually sat him up on the side of the road for his owner to come back... a Christmas Miracle? Maybe so. Colin was so excited to see Monkey again I had to document it!
Never roam alone - Monkey A.K.A. the roaming gnome.
Monkey see, Monkey do
Colin got a monkey balloon hat, Jack opted for a balloon "gator" even though technically it is supposed to be a T-Rex.
Thanks soon-to-be Aunt Renee for going with us to the Columbia Taste of the Market festival (and standing in line for an hour for balloon animals) well worth it since Colin popped his within 2 minutes!
And don't worry - we will teach you how to hold a baby soon enough (just kidding)!
